From the Dirt is an Americana duo (Dan Kenny & Jeff Karn) from Maryland. Their harmony-soaked original songs, on guitar and mandolin, reveal Bluegrass, Celtic, and Americana influences. Bright Against the Blue was produced and recorded by Jerry Brown (Mandolin Orange, Lucinda Williams, featuring members of Hiss Golden Messenger, Mipso, and Mandolin Orange, as well as harmonies from Megan Leigh.
